What’s the Difference Between Chiropractor and Physical Therapist?

Question by niqua99: What’s the difference between chiropractor and physical therapist?
I was going to do physical therapy but then I heard that athletes fly their chiropractors with them everywhere so I got jealous and I think I want to switch and maybe do both lol which one makes more money? What course/major do I have to take as a undergrad for these two? Is kinesiology one of them?

With one ( PT ) you will have a real degree from a real university, the other you will get a “pretend degree” from a chiropractic trade school. Physical Therapy is evidence based http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evidence-based_practice while chiropractic is quackery based ( chiros just make random spinal manipulations and hope that it does something positive for the patient ) Also in the near future Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) will be trained in evidence based spinal manipulation ( manipulation done ONLY if needed ) http://www.dynamicchiropractic.com/mpacms/dc/article.php?id=55808 Also with a PT degree you can rest assured that you will be able to make a good living..not so much for new chiro grads.http://chiropractorswife.blogspot.com/2011/03/want-to-be-doctor-of-chiropractic.html
