In an inpatient center, the day begins with vitals, meaning that they’ll take your weight, blood pressure, pulse, etc, and then you’ll have breakfast. The type of food depends on the treatment center you’re at. Some give patients a lot of supplements (such as Ensure or Boost), while others will have somewhat normal meals, but most places, each meal will be rather large and consist of an entree, several sides and a beverage. After that, there will probably be some form of therapy, then lunch, more therapy, maybe a snack, dinner, possibly some free time, and then maybe an evening snack before bed.
I’ve been hospitalized and been to an inpatient center before, so I can answer any specific questions with a lot of detail if needed. If you have more questions, feel free to email me at [email protected]
