I have a friend who started doing drugs after she was raped. I understand that this is her way of escape, that the trauma has led her to turn to drugs. I made sure that I was always there for her even when she was driving me away. I really did my best to convince her that she’s better off without the drug. Just 2 days ago, she finally saw my point.
