Question by defenseonly: AUTISM AND MY CHILD, PLZ HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND, I need to work through this and i am so broken down inside?
I am confused lost, not understanding his little brain, which doctors, he is set-up for evaluation but I am just beside myself. I dont know of any resources, support groups, and self= help. Parenting techniques, Any of you familiar with this and good solid advice

I have a good friend with a little boy who has autism.

Read up on autism, learn as much as you can about it. He’ll be in occupational therapy once a week, which will help him tremendously. When he starts kindergarten he’ll have a special education teacher who will understand his needs too. You’ll have alot of help. In the meantime, research and learn about his disability so you are knowledgeable and can help him function the best he can.
